"I realized that my own home range had changed because of the leveret. Before, I had no settled pattern of my own. If anything, given the amount I travelled, I spent most of my time in the home ranges of others. Now I circled the barn and the hare, and I had my own preferred paths. Hares are creatures of habit and I had become one too. Through the leveret, I had rediscovered the pleasure of attachment to a place and the contentment that can be derived from exploring it fully, rather than constantly seeking ways to leave it and believing that satisfaction can only like in novel experiences."

A wee explanation: this website was created as a way to amplify the daily surprise of seeing glory in one small life. The notebook entries represented here are all selected from things actually lived and noted on paper in an effort to live the full life British educator Charlotte Mason so ably championed.
