"Lent once more. What shall my discipline be? Rather than fast I will say Compline before I sleep. Also feed on George Herbert. And recognize that the wilderness is not the wasteland." ~ Ronald Blythe 100 Days of Keeping begins again on March 5, 2025 (Ash Wednesday). Will you join me in some dedicated keeping? What shall your discipline be? What will you feed on? What might you recognize? I know it is largely a quiet art but please consider leaving a comment below...it's so encouraging to the tribe. And invite some friends!

well, I chucked what I said out the window today when I realized my Coleridge book was more analysis and less poetry. *sigh*. HOWEVER, I was thumbing through my MIL's library this afternoon (whom I think you would be friends with in real life, for some reason?), and I stumbled upon a Lent collection that I think will be my fallback. "Bread and Wine: Readings for Lent and Easter", consisting of quotes from Lewis, Chesterton, L'Engle....and will also start Ourselves and Genesis. I think this will be under Divinity notebooking. I will record online, since all of my notebooks (and books, other than a handful of 'my preciouseses) are in our old home. I am needing to go Godward in life and this feels like the prompt I need.

I have that book! ☺️ I'm sorry for your unsettledness...good things are coming. More poetry, less analysis!
