Hello Bonnie! It's from Shadows on the Rock--set in old Quebec. There are some very beautiful passages in it.

I am doing My Antonia in the late Spring with my students. Interesting that she did Old Quebec. I have one of her autobiographies so may see more about Shadows in the Rock.
