Isn't it lovely? This is called a Sawtooth Oak and I first met it in Birmingham AL. The leaves had me wondering for a long time. They aren't like other oak leaves I know. Then someone helped me connect these funny acorns to the narrow, spiky leaves. You can read more about them by clicking on the photo.
